Copyrighting Elemental

 Due to recent events of a possible plagiarism of Elemental, I am copyrighting my story.

 Yes, the Twilight part of it is being edited out to return to the original storyline that I started with a few years ago. This seems to be one of the few ways I can protect the work.

 There are people out there that have no scruples when it comes to other people's work. Since day one I have tried to make the stories I've written as accessible as possible, but some people took that to mean that they could do with it as they wished.

  For those who have supported me, it has been my pleasure to share my stories with you. I thank you for your help and feedback. I've learned many tips from you on storytelling!

 One last note, the story that was thought to be mine/a copy of mine is not, and I am very relieved.

Redemption - Vampire Diaries Fic

 As I announced on Twitter, I am writing a new story called "Redemption" based on the character of Stefan Salvatore from the Vampire Diaries series. It will take place before he returns to Fell's Church and meets Elena. It will be his journey from savage killer to a man who values human life.

Elemental is finished, the clean-up begins

 As of Tuesday, January 25th at 4:23 PM, I have finished writing Elemental.

 Since there is about three chapters worth of writing for the Team to read and help with the beta process, it will take another week or two to post due to everyone's schedules. I will post the last three chapters over a period of a few days when ready.

 You've been so patient and I truly thank you for waiting. I do hope you enjoy the rest of the story.

Teaser number two for Elemental, Chapter 28

 I looked back the way we came, searching for the origin of the noise. I thought I saw a separate darkness on the edge of the darkness of the forest, but wasn’t sure if I was seeing things or if this was the soul eater. The sour, nauseous feeling continued, prompting me to believe in the second thought.  

 As everyone around me moved closer together, trying to ignite some form of comfort, I centered myself and dared to reach out towards Earth for an answer.

 I was immediately thrown back as a wall of blinding white pain greeted me. I couldn’t tell if I was standing or falling. My body felt like it was encased in the dark nebula of the mind of the thing that was here to decimate all living things. My nightmares had only hinted at what this thing was. Maybe I should have been thankful for that form of mental reprieve as the reality was something so much more chilling. Something that was an accumulation of every horror movie or story that I had come across, something that didn’t understand the word mercy…and it was something that finally made me truly understand that it didn’t want to possess the Elements or even us that could wield them; it wanted us all gone.

 It wanted all of life to end…permanently.
