 MaganBagan, Lady QE, and Moi would like to announce the Enchantments (Myth, Legends, and Magic) Contest.

 Now, you're asking yourself what makes this contest so awesome?


 We’re asking for you to broaden your scope and show us your best witches, wizards, ghosts, mummies, dragons, zombies, and shape shifters using our beloved Twilight characters.


 It can be set in modern times or the past. Maybe in a fantasy world of your making. However you want to write it, we want to see it!


 Did I mention the prizes? How does a ITunes card for the First Place Winner sound to you? Uh-Huh, that's what I thought, sounds like a nice prize.


This contest will be anonymous, so I hope first time writers want to get involved in the contest as well. Don't be shy, we're looking for creativity in a great fantasy setting.

Age of Edward 2010 Contest

The Age of Edward 2010

Chances are you remember this contest from the summer of 2009. It was a great success, giving authors old and new a chance to participate in a wholly unique sort of oneshot contest: writing an Edward from a particular historical era.

This year the contest commenced on August 15^th and will run until September 30th, at which point all entries must be submitted.

Winners will be announced October 15, 2010.

There are two categories: literotica and young adult (for those who don’t write smut and for those who do). Also, canon will be included this time, albeit judged separately from the AH entries.

I know, I know, I know...where is Elemental? Will I update now? How about now? Now?

 You know, sometimes my Muse can be a fickle bitch and pulls a Thelma & Louise with another fic author's Inspiration. This time she got it in her head to travel for a longer period of time, but I did get the occasional post card saying:

Yeah, so you see how it is. I am chopped liver.

Well, she finally staggered in the door a few days ago, looking as if she partied a little too hard and collapsed on my couch muttering about needing a day or two to sleep. Guess who got stuck with laundry duty?

 Anyway, she started chatting a bit yesterday and we were able to put down a few hundred words. It's a start, not a finished chapter, but a positive start.

 So, readers. I love you, I really do, but sending me reviews or PMs telling me to post NOW scares the Muse, a lot. Frankly it kinda scares me, too.

 During the Muse's hiatus, I kept the home fires burning and the creative juices flowing by writing a one-shot called: "A Stagecoach Named Desire."
